Approximately 1,500 tonnes of Dragon Fruit export to China

Approximately 1,560 tonnes of dragon fruit got practices clearance for export to China via the Lào Cai international line gate on February 17-18 – the first two days of Lunar Fresh Year.

Mr Nguyễn Quyết Chiến, brain of the Lào Cai international border gateway customs office, said Ánh Lộc, Bảo An and Tân Hưng Thịnh companies loaded the fruits in 32 vans going to China.

The fruits were sourced from orchards in the south-central province of Bình Thuận and the Mekong Delta provinces of Sóc Trăng and Vĩnh Long.

In 2017, hundreds of hundreds of dragon fruit were shipped to China via Lào Cai international border gate. The fruit is also entering new markets including India, New Zealand, Australia and Chile, said the ministry.

Not only exporting fresh dragon fruits but Vietnam also exports frozen dragon fruit such as frozen dragon fruit, frozen dragon fruit cube… through many other markets.
