Frozen Durian

Frozen Durian made from Durian is known as the king of fruits and is found only in Southeast Asia. The durian is cultivated in Vietnam including Durian Monthong  and Durian Ri6 is exported to numerous countries.

Specifically if you have any chances to check out Vinh Extended, remember to try Durian Ri6. Ri6 durian of the southern province of Vinh Long is lauded to be the best durian variety in Vietnam. It can be named Ri6 after the name of Mister. Sau Ri, who created this variety in 1990. It has a distinctly bright yellow color, like the powerful coloration of a Musang King durian in Malaysia. The flesh is thick and fibrous, with a very good egg-flavor that warns me of countless Thai types.

In Vietnam, it is mainly cultivated in the South but there are several orchards in the highlands in Lam Dong province at elevation of about six-hundred to 1000 mm.  The primary production areas in Vietnam are: Dong Nai, Ton Giang, Ben Tre, BariaVungtau, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Vinh Long, and May Tho.
